November
Here we are in November! The season flew by and I’m left feeling a little blue—there just wasn’t enough laughter and joy. I try so hard to see the good and the positive everywhere, but boy, the world is a mess! And it’s especially trying here in the US where the government that is supposed to protect you, isn’t.
So I’m doing what I can—I’ve attended my No Kings” rallies and seen hope; I’ve written to my senators and not felt the same. But the biggest thing I am doing is reenforcing that my job is to bring beauty into the world. And if you know me, that is usually done with a smile on my face. :)
sterling silver and 18k yellow gold wild aster pin/pendant with green chrysoprase stone—fresh off the bench.
I’ve been creating new sculptural botanicals and gold sprinkled beauties. I will be exhibiting one last time this year at the Designing Women show in Portland on Saturday, December 13th from 9-4 at the Ocean Avenue School. FMI: Designing Women Portland
