This handmade sterling dogwood necklace is a wearable sculpture. The dogwood and leaf is cut, formed, and soldered to create s life-size dogwood flower. It is suspended from a natural freshwater coin pearl necklace. The white pearls are hand knotted (by me) on silk with a silver clasp and can be worn separately. The sterling silver pendant can also be worn as a pin or suspended on a chain. Slightly oxidized, this piece is dimensional and textural like the actual flower.
Silver frontispiece is 4 inches wide by 3 inches tall. On the pearls, the necklace is about 20 inches long. The pearls are 17 ¼ inches long on their own.
